Concrete Resurfacing Products, Inc. has been resurfacing and refinishing concrete for Roswell homeowners and businesses since 1998. We work out of our shop in Buford, and Roswell is part of our regular service area. We do not pour concrete. Everything we do is applied over the slab you already have.

Why concrete in Roswell wears the way it does

Between the historic district’s older homes and the newer construction out toward Crabapple, Roswell gives us a wide range of slab ages to work with.

The mix of older established streets and newer subdivisions means we see two very different sets of concrete problems here, sometimes on the same street. Older slabs show settling and surface loss, newer ones mostly show wear and discoloration.

North Georgia adds two more things on top of that. The red clay under most of the north Georgia metro expands when it takes on water and shrinks when it dries, which works a slab from underneath. And while our winters are mild, the metro still runs through dozens of freeze and thaw cycles a year, and every one of them widens whatever moisture has already found its way into the surface.

Resurfacing instead of replacing

Removing and replacing a slab means demolition, haul-off, disposal and a new pour that then has to cure before you can use it. Resurfacing keeps the existing concrete in the ground and replaces only the surface you actually see and walk on. It costs less, it is finished sooner, and it does not put a sound slab into a landfill. The one condition is that the concrete underneath has to be structurally sound, and that is the first thing we check.

Colors, patterns and materials

We are a Georgia distributor and installer of Stardek products, a professional-grade system that has been in use for over thirty-five years. There are forty stock colors, custom mixing, and a wide range of stamp patterns and textures. If you want a reactive, variegated look rather than a solid color, see acid staining. Our color chart is the place to start.

Questions we get from Roswell homeowners

Do you have to tear out my Roswell driveway to fix how it looks?

In most cases, no. If the slab underneath is structurally sound, we resurface the top rather than remove and replace it. That keeps the cost down, avoids the disposal of the old concrete, and takes a fraction of the time. We will tell you honestly if a slab is too far gone to be worth coating.

How long does a Roswell driveway take?

Most residential work runs a few days on site depending on size and finish. Cure time matters as much as application time, and we will give you a specific schedule, including when you can drive on it, before we start.

Can you match a color to my house?

Yes. We carry forty stock colors and can mix custom colors, and we work from our color chart on site so you are choosing against the actual brick, stone or siding rather than a screen.
